Police beat up medical personnel in Ulhasnagar city of Maharashtra

A medical worker has lodged a complaint against a group of policemen for allegedly assaulting him in the premises of a hospital in Ulhasnagar city in Thane district of Maharashtra. A police officer said that according to the police complaint, Satish Wagh went to hand over some equipment to the central hospital in Ulhasnagar on Monday and was parking his two-wheeler vehicle near the building when some policemen objected to it.


● The complainant alleged that he was beaten up by policemen. Around 500 to 600 people were present in the hospital at that time and police personnel were trying to control the crowd, Senior Inspector S.C. Suradkar said that the vehicle of the person claiming was blocking the way. Policemen say that he had put his vehicle on the road, causing problems in the way of the hospital.

He said that the allegations are being investigated and no case has been registered so far.
